Leave all the cable companies and get Netflix and Hulu, thats what I did! Spectrum kept raising their prices, taking channels away AND, then they want to charge you to come to your home to fix their bad equipment and connections!

Hey Spectrum, thats like going to a restaurant, having to bring your own food and cook it yourself before paying them to be there!

Their customer service is absolutely awful, they need to learn that customers have a choice! Not giving them my money anymore and it feels great!

My head is still reeling at the thought of someone actually paying a cable company money to run a cable to their house instead of considering it THEIR duty to do so if they want your business. You must really have a need to watch the telly.

I pay my bill online every month. They told me they were hiking the rate by $40.00 dollars the next month. I trod to cancel my service over the phone and they said they could not I need to return the equipment first. So I took it in and canceled. They told me I had to pay the whole remaining month even though I only used the service 8 days.they said we charge the whole month even if it’s only 1 day I used it. I I asked them how that could remotely seem fair. Can they do that! It seems to Me that that would be illegal to over charge people.should I get a lawyer for $168.00 dollars? Do you think a class action suit can stop this practice!

I feel so sorry for customer service employee's of Spectrum. They are forced to lie and verbally abuse customers in order to keep their jobs. Spectrum is a company you do not want to get involved with. Their business practices are criminal. If you try to cancel your service after you find this out you will not believe the ordeal you will go thru and if you don't cancel then you bill will continue to increase on a regular basis (while new customers are offered the same packages at substantially lower prices(

Beware when cancelling internet/cable services

I cancelled Spectrum and returned equipment on 8/13/19. I was on auto pay. My credit card was billed in Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec before I noticed it. When I called, they said they would issue a credit, but the credit was for only 1 month. It took several days to clear up the bill, and I was finally given the credit for the other months. HOWEVER, if you return your equipment, do it at the end of your billing period. My period was 8/4/19 to 9/3/19. I only used their service/equipment for 9 days, but had to pay for the others. THEY DO NOT PRO-RATE THEIR SERVICE. My bill was $195/month (which is why I dropped them), and pro-rated would have been only $58 or so. Don't change service until the end of your billing cycle.

Same thing happened to me! They are the worst and when I cancelled only part of my service they said I still have to pay for the full month because it was after a bill was generated...what??

, They keep claiming that you are a bill passed due, I have went back with ALL my payments on my Bank statements they service is not of good quality and the rates is not up to part of what they want to charge for services, BIG RIP OFF just to make the owner richer, and they do not have any bargains for the elderly, or those on Disability , they do not care and their customer service people have no communication skills and you are on hold for 15 to 25 minutes.
