I have a 95 year old father who is moving into assisted living (which is a big change), also very hard of hearing. I took on the project to move his TV service to new home.

At first spectrum seem to be OK, but turned off his serves at old address 5 days early. Got that reset but than spectrum lost the transfer order. Gerry (in sales) told me he couldn't reset order that night but he would call me back at noon when he returned to work the next day. He never did but I call him back and this is where most problem happen.

I know it was the same Gerry because of his speech and heavy breathing while working. Ask several times to speak to a supervisor, wish was worst. The super requested him to authorize which with two phones was able to get him to authorize me onto his account. No more than handle that now they wanted his account number, than secure code, last four SSN, got it all.

Than she (Tameka) wanted him to drive with a power of Attorney form to an office and turn it in. All of this was on the phone and only took over two hours (ha ha). This Tameka told be I could use a hearing impaired line by text or proper machine within home. Tried the line and it is false.

For the last straw she told me she would close off the seniors TV line and notify security to do something, because they screwed up shut off his two times in two days and could get a simple work order to MOVE his service from point A to point B on one day. Now I know why spectrum charges SO MUCH, to spend so much time phone repairing and aggravating customers with their screw ups does cost money.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.
