First, their internet speed claims mean nothing because there is no more net neutrality. If you are not using one of their clients that pay them a kickback like Netflix, then your bandwidth everywhere else will be very low during peak usage.

If you talk to technical support they will try to blame it on equipment or anything else. This practice is so prevalent in the industry they have a name for it, throttling.

Also, there may be better service for you at a lower cost but you must lower yourself to *** at them before a better plan with lower rates will suddenly be available to you. Don't feel sorry for the customer service reps as they are being paid to represent the company. They agree to take money so you have no real officials to complain to.

It's a sleazy way to make a living and I'm sure they don't get fairly compensated. These are just desperate people who need a job.
